Slump Test Cone
Slump Testing determines the consistency of fresh concrete. It may be used at the pour site or the laboratory.
The Slump Test Cone is filled with 3 layers of fresh concrete, each tamped to remove voids. The concrete is leveled off with the top of the Cone. On removing the cone, the slump is measured.
The Slump Test can be used with fresh plastic concrete with an aggregate size of 2 inches (50 mm) or smaller.
