Proctor Penetrometer Test Set

It is used with Methods A and B of Test Method D 698 to develop relationships between moisture content, density, and penetration resistance.

The set includes a spring dynamometer with a scale on the stem of the handle graduated from 10 lb. to 130 lb. and seven interchangeable needles in a wooden box with a carrying handle.
