Density Drive Sampler

The Sampler consists of a zinc-plated steel drive head and a sliding 10 lb hammer. The drive head is provided with a shock spring. Drive tubes are zinc-plated.

Drive Tubes are available in two sizes:

• 3 in x 2.75 in (0.01 ft3)
• 4 in x 5 in (0.033 ft3)

Note: Because of the difficulty sometimes encountered with sample removal from the tube, swaged end tubes are not recommended in stiff soils.
