Direct Shear
Measurement of stress induced failure in soil specimens by application of a strain at a shear plane is accomplished with this equipment.
Two systems are available
- One applies vertical dead weight loading with weights
- The second system uses a pneumatic air cell to apply the vertical load to the specimen.
