Rail Infrastructure Monitoring
Railway Track Monitoring Solutions: DGSI’s Integrated Ecosystem
Real-time geotechnical instrumentation and analytics that give rail operators early warning before track geometry becomes a safety problem.
Rail infrastructure projects are increasingly exposed to risk from adjacent excavation, tunneling, embankment instability, groundwater changes, settlement, and vibration. Even small variations in track geometry can create operational disruptions, speed restrictions, or derailment risks.
DGSI railway track monitoring converts raw measurements into actionable information for rail operators. Providing early warning of track profile changes and geotechnical issues, this comprehensive rail monitoring ecosystem combines geotechnical instrumentation, automated data acquisition, and real-time analytics, giving rail operators the data they need to ensure safe and consistent operation during construction and throughout the asset life cycle.
Integrated Solution
Vertical GeoFlex
A MEMS-based in-place inclinometer system that delivers continuous, real-time subsurface deformation monitoring across ground movement, embankment, tunnel, retaining wall, and rail corridor applications.
Horizontal GeoFlex
A string of closely spaced MEMS sensors that extends the GeoFlex platform into horizontal applications, monitoring settlement or heave under tracks, tunnels, and embankments to detect movement early and maintain operational safety during adjacent construction works.
Track Monitoring System
MEMS Tiltmeters track angular movement in rail structures and tunnels. EL Beam Sensors monitor differential movement and structural deformation in bridges and retaining walls. Multi-Level Vibrating Wire Piezometers measure pore-water pressure changes critical to embankment stability and soft-ground tunnel projects.
The Sensly Platform
Cloud-based real-time monitoring with customizable dashboards and automated alerts sent via SMS or email, so rail managers are notified the moment a track profile deviates from safety standards. Wireless IoT-based monitoring extends coverage into areas where wired infrastructure is difficult or impractical.
